The BritishSpanish Society “Punto de Encuentro” Annual Concert Date – Wednesday 22nd November Time – doors open at 5:30pm – 8:30pm Location – St James’s Church Piccadilly The BritishSpanish society will be holding their Autumn Concert in the impressive St James’s Church, Piccadilly., Wednesday 22nd November. The church, was designed by highly acclaimed British Architect Sir Christopher Wren in1676. Its acoustic qualities have been consistently celebrated with the church hosting music greats across the ages from Haydn to Adele. The concert’s music director is once again former BritishSpanish Society scholarship winner Nicole Crespo O’Donoghue. There will be a drinks and tapas reception following the event. The 24th Annual British Academy Television Craft Awards took place on 23 April 2023 at The Brewery in London, presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) to recognize technical achievements in British television of 2022.[1] The ceremony was hosted by English comedian Mel Giedroyc.

Another winner on the night was The State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II which won in two categories: Sound: Factual; and Directing Team for Director: Multi-Camera Peter Bridges, Matthew Charles, Conrad Fletcher, Julian Gough, Andy James and Andy Payne.
