The city of Pamplona commemorates the 110th anniversary of the death of the violinist and composer  Pablo Sarasate with a programme of cultural activities including music, film, guided visits and the renovation of Pablo Sarasate's tomb.

The celebrations begin on Wednesday 19th September at 19:00 with a projection of the documentary produced and directed by Joaquín Calderón The King of the Violin.

The 20th September at 20:00 sees Nicole Crespo O'Donoghue performing Sarasate's Vuillaume violin in a Lecture-Recital specifically programmed for the occasion. Nicole will be accompanied on the piano by Mark Kinkaid.
